Employment coaching

Employment womenWorking Pace offers one-to-one coaching on employment issues to lesbians, gay men, bisexuals and transgender people who live in London, are unemployed, experiencing emotional or mental health issues and would like to:

  • Explore career options
  • Get back to work
  • Gain confidence in their skills
  • Get individually tailored support
  • Gain work experience
  • Get help to build jobseeking skills

What we offer

You and your coach work together to develop and achieve employment and/or training goals based on your abilities, interests, and individual circumstances. She will help you to identify and overcome obstacles to employment. We can also help you with the practicalities around gaining employment. We can arrange a temporary work placement on your behalf so that you can try out jobs that you are interested in and gain relevant work experience.

Each person’s circumstances are different and we are not able to give you advice about benefits. However, if you are currently receiving benefits we will refer you to an appropriate professional to get independent advice about how your benefits may be affected. We will continue to work closely with you throughout the process to ensure the best outcome for you.

Costs

Working Pace is free of charge. However, as PACE is a charity, all donations are very welcome.
