PACE On-line Drug & Alcohol Counselling

The pilot project in conjunction with Gaydar & Gaydargirls finished in May 2008

The pilot project ended on the 22nd May 2008. The online assessment form has been removed from the website for the time being. Please check the website for future updates.

PACE's counselling service offers support to people who are facing issues such as anxiety, coming out, sexual identity, depression and relationship difficulties. We will be offering specific counselling around drug and alcohol concerns in gaydar and gaydargirls chatrooms to people based in the UK (click on gaydar and gaydargirls logo's below). We offer a range of counselling approaches and all our counsellors are lesbian, gay or bisexual and are fully qualified, or in the final part of their training.

How do I access a counsellor on-line?

The counselling service will be open every Thursday from 6 pm with the last appointment starting at 7.30 pm. We need to assess if the service is suited to your needs so please complete and submit the registration form below. Alternatively you can chat to the receptionist whose profile is pacereceptionist1. For anonymity you do not need to enter the PACE chatroom. You can just click on the pacereception1 profile to enter a private chat. Each session with the counsellor is 50 minutes and you will be offered 6 sessions.
