Survivors of Domestic Abuse Support Group

Aim of the group

To improve self esteem, safety, confidence, emotional health and well being, and physical health.

Who is the group for?

People identifying as lesbian, gay, and bisexual who are or have been victims of domestic violence.

Meeting others in the group in a similar situation can help reduce feelings of shame, isolation and invisibility.

How long will the group last and what are the themes?

The group will focus on the following issues:

  • Safety
  • What is a healthy relationship?
  • How to recognise and understand relationship patterns
  • Power and control issues
  • Best ways of dealing with anger and conflict
  • Physical health
  • Confidence and self esteem issues

Where are the groups held?

North London. Just a short walk (about 7 minutes) from Caledonian Road Tube Station (Piccadilly Line)
